Science experiment

 In our science lesson today, we explored with footprints. We used small play characters to create footprints in baking soda. Then we kept the figures in one spot to add colored vinegar. The students loved watching the reaction and taking turns to add colors. We finished the experiment by removing the toys to see the footprints they left in the mixture.

The children did a great job working together in a small group setting. This was a great extension from Dr. Seuss' The Foot Book. We are also completing math measurement activities with The Foot Book.
