The students have really enjoyed building a character called "Mat Man." We sing a song as we use the wooden pieces to build him from top to bottom. The children were able to use the wooden pieces to practice building letters today.
During FUNdations this week, we introduced letters "a"and "g." Below is a picture of one student leading the class while we practice our sounds.
